Co-Director and Composer for this animated short "DRIVR", First Place and Audience Choice Winner at the California Lutheran University 48 Hour Film Jam, Spring 2020. Also assisted with some motion graphic animation in Adobe After Effects.
With limited time, we chose to target making something "Fantasia-like" - where the visuals and the music would be the centerpoint of the piece. After quickly roughing out a narrative, storyboarding, and drawing some concepts for our sci-fi world, we got to work, in a sort of simultaneous harmony as scenes were animated to the music and the music was written to lay out the story beats, all brought together in the final edit. I was very blessed to have such a talented team on this project, and after the sleep deprivation passed we all felt we had created something truly special.
